Semi-permanent eyebrow embroidery using ultra-fine needles to create incredibly natural, hair-stroke brows. Correct, enhance, or fully reconstruct your perfect brows — with results that last up to 3 years.
Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery, is a semi-permanent makeup procedure categorized under cosmetic tattooing. Unlike traditional tattooing, it is far less invasive — using a hand tool with ultra-fine needles to gently etch individual hair strokes into the upper layers of the skin, depositing pigment to create an incredibly natural and realistic-looking brow.
Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows. It is excellent for those wanting to enhance sparse brows, or for those who have little to no eyebrows due to age, over-tweezing, alopecia, or medical conditions. Pigments are carefully chosen to match your natural or desired brow colour, and your skin tone is always taken into consideration.
Microblading typically lasts 1–3 years depending on skin type and skincare routine — with a touch-up recommended every 12–18 months to keep brows looking fresh and defined.
Both techniques create beautiful, natural-looking brows — but with different tools and ideal candidates. Dr. Raveena will recommend the best approach for your skin type during your consultation.
A hand tool with a row of ultra-fine needles creates individual hair strokes manually. Each stroke is precisely etched to mimic the natural direction and thickness of real brow hairs.
Uses a single ultra-fine needle attached to a digital machine, creating even finer, more precise hair strokes. Ideal for clients with oily or sensitive skin where microblading may not retain as well.
Ultra-fine hair strokes mimic real brow hairs so closely that even close-up inspection often cannot distinguish microbladed from natural brows.
No more daily brow pencil, powder, or gel. Wake up every morning with defined, shaped, symmetrical brows that require zero effort.
Microbladed brows stay perfect through exercise, swimming, rain, and humidity — never smudging, fading, or running throughout the day.
Can fully reconstruct eyebrows lost to alopecia, cancer treatment, over-tweezing, or age-related thinning with strikingly natural results.
Unlike traditional tattoos, microblading fades naturally over 1–3 years. You can let it fade completely or refresh your brows with touch-ups.
Topical anaesthetic is applied before and during the procedure. Most clients experience minimal to no pain — describing it as light scratching at most.
Colour fades by up to 40% as brows heal — this is completely normal. True final colour reveals itself at 4–6 weeks after the touch-up.
Brows appear very dark and bold. Slight redness is normal. The colour will lighten significantly as healing progresses.
Brows continue to look dark. Light scabbing begins. Do NOT pick or peel the scabs — this damages the skin and affects pigment retention.
Scabs fall off naturally. The brow area looks lighter — sometimes patchy. Colour appears to fade significantly, which is normal and expected.
Skin appears opaque and milky over the brows ("milk skin"). This is normal — tissue is still healing from the inside out.
True colour emerges after full healing. Touch-up session at 4–6 weeks refines and perfects the final result.
Your brow stylist shapes and designs your brows for your approval. Feel free to bring reference photos. We work together to create the perfect brow shape suited to your facial structure.
We carefully select the ideal pigment colour to match your natural brow hair colour and skin tone. This step ensures your results look natural and harmonious with your features.
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the brow area. This is left on for 20–30 minutes to ensure maximum comfort throughout the procedure. It is reapplied as needed during the session.
Using a precision hand tool or digital device, ultra-fine hair strokes are carefully etched into the skin. Each stroke follows the natural direction of your existing brow hairs for a seamless, realistic result.
Follow your aftercare instructions carefully. Apply healing balm morning and night. Do not wet, touch, or apply makeup to the brow area. Allow scabs to fall naturally. No picking.
A mandatory touch-up session at 4–6 weeks allows us to refine the shape, add strokes in any areas that didn't retain pigment, adjust colour if needed, and perfect your final result. This session takes 1.5–2 hours.
Following these instructions is essential to achieving the best microblading result and preventing complications.
For the safety and wellbeing of all patients, microblading is not suitable for everyone. Please review this list carefully before booking. If any of these apply to you, please inform us during your consultation.
Although allergic reactions to microblading pigments are rare, they are possible for some individuals. We recommend a pigment patch test 5–7 days prior if you are sensitive to topical makeup products, metals (gold, silver, nickel), or hair dyes.
We always shape and style the brows for your approval before the procedure begins. Every effort is made to achieve symmetry and your desired outcome. Minor adjustments and colour corrections can be made during the touch-up session. If no further touch-ups are done, microbladed brows will naturally and completely fade over time.
No. Touch-up sessions must not be done earlier than 4 weeks after the initial session. Pigment colour has not fully settled and the tissue requires time to heal completely. Performing a touch-up too early risks scar damage and poor pigment retention.
